Hi, I'm Jack Melcher - experienced Game Tester, self-taught Game Devloper, and occasional Content Creator. I grew up playing video games and decided to pursue a career in the Games Industry after earning a B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.

As a Software Test Eningeer at Experis Game Solutions, I lead other testers in ad hoc and directed game testing. I review the testers bug reports and provide training to testers to improve their QA skills. So far, I've been credited as a Test Associate in Age of Empires 2: Definitive Edition.

As a Game Developer, I'm currently working on my third solo project "Ultimate Dodgeball" using Unreal Engine 4. I've participated in several Game Jams, having collaborated with students as well professionals in the industry. I also regularly attend meetings with local chapters of the International Game Developers Association.

As a Web Developer, I created GameDevelop.io, a resource website for game development. My goal is to provide anyone who visits the site with all the necessary information and tools to be a game developer.

As a Content Creator, I cover indie games hosted on websites such as itch.io and Gamejolt. I also stream games and provide entertaining and informative commentary on YouTube, Twitch, and Mixer.
